http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60475 Vishnunithyasoundhar S <svishnunithyasoundhar@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |svishnunithyasoundhar@gmail | |.com --- Comment #2 from Vishnunithyasoundhar S <svishnunithyasoundhar@gmail.com> --- I've submitted https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/12302 Test 1: `echo hello 1>&2 | echo done` Windows 11: outputs `hello` and `done` on separate lines, no file created. My patch: same as Windows 11. Tentative patch: outputs only `done`, creates a file named `&2` containing `hello`. Test 2: `echo| set /p v="1.0" > "d x\a.txt"` Same result in all three cases — no stray `d` file, `d x\a.txt` contains `1.0`. So the tentative patch does fix the reported bug, it just over-quotes and breaks the `2>&1`-style clones. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
