Wine 9.0 is a fairly old version. Can you please retest with at least the latest Wine 11.0 stable version or Wine 11.7 development version?
Also, is there an available public download for the WCS-7300-U software?
This is software that I purchased from the mfr (RT Systems) that is specifically for programming the ICOM 7300 radio. You can install/run it but it will ask for the registration key to continue with the program. I was able to get this far, registering the software, but when I attempt to run the programming software it appears to initialize and then throws up a generic error message (Attempted an Unsupported Operation) and stops there. When I click "OK" I get the WINE debugger saying: "The program RadioEngine_V5.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The radio programmer window stays open with a "IC 7300 Programmer is not responding" with a Wait / Force Quit option that shuts down the application. Hope this helps, let me know if you need additional info - I did upload attachments of back traces and console responses to see if that would be useful.
