The application writes a file 'Imc.lic', sets creation and last-write time, stores both in the file and compares them on the next read. Wine on Linux ignores the set creation time and reports creation time = mtime.
This is related to bug 36958, I want to mention this affected application.
Wouldn't it be better for you to update the app affected in bug 36958 comments directly?
