http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60284 Bug ID: 60284 Summary: game with CDDA is hard to make CDDA working Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: mountmgr.sys Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: l12436.tw@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Distribution: --- I have a game call Mahou2, its came with a mix cd with data and cd track. game has BGM with MIDI or CDDA. for a very long time, I thought the wine CDDA is not implemented. because it never working for some reason. I looking into it. and found it actually implemented. that fact that it is not working is due to game detect the file first than read with cd track later. winecfg did not give ability to define a drive with cdrom and change its cdrom drive link like `/dev/sr0`. it always by pure wine detect. This cause user might not know if it is actually correct or not. or user might want to change the directory part to other location and link cdrom to `/dev/sr0` etc. current I found its useful is staging patch mountmgr-DosDevices and winecfg-Unmounted_Devices which end up allow user to modify the drive directory patch and cdrom link to `/dev/sr0` to make CDDA working. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
