http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60184 --- Comment #12 from flues.fault4b@icloud.com --- While I first noticed this from Steam, I am noticing this in wine. To replicate, I'll start 'journactl -kf' in one terminal. In another terminal I'll start a wine program like 'wine notepad' or 'wine explorer'. I can load programs, games, and play around. This is when journalctl will start reporting resets events for my usbhid keyboard and ONLY the keyboard. Once wine is closed, the reset events stop. I've updated asus firmwares via HBCD. One of my next steps might be to see if I can explore custom firmware via qmk. I don't remember why, but there may be an issue when a device has no Report Deescriptors (lsusb -v). Except it only affects the N-KEY device and not the mouse.. so that's unlikely. I've also not tested another external keyboard. I'll report when I do. While Proton appears to also be affected, I'm under the impression that some libraries are shared. If the issue appears to be present for both softwares independently, then I do need to look elsewere. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
