I am working on a overhaul of how mmdevapi should behave when given invalid or borderline wave formats. In some cases that leads to a crash, which I suppose is appropriate to fix even during the freeze. So here it is. I'm pretty sure that the OSS backend suffers from the same problem. [PATCH 0/1] MR9751: gitlab: Make core files accessible as artifacts.

All some days there is an issue with the `debian-32` gitlab job showing a segfault. But it also shows `core dumped`. This merge request is the attempt to make this core file available as artifact.
