Quite simply, I did not realize the functions within "kernelbase/loader.c" were not just contained to that DLL, but evidently are being used in such functions as time zone information acquisition. I will go back to the drawing board, add some debugging type "printf" statements within the loader.c file, and check out the usage of the functions in my virtual machine sandbox. Performance issues can occur when a video output sample has a 2D buffer, because winegstreamer currently outputs only to a linear buffer, which must then be copied into the 2D buffer. For programs that rely on language specific data for resources such as menus and text, attempt to search for and associated "mui" file. In a certain game from 1996, the end of the logo animation was determined by checking whether the video playback had reached its end. However, Wine's avivideo incorrectly reports the end position as one frame short of the actual length.
