The trial version can be acquired (reg required) from Adobe at: http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jsp#product%3D22 Framemaker required IE6 and a DCOM install. Wine 20031212 was the last snapshot that I could successfully install IE6, and thus became the baseline for comparison. To install Framemaker: 1. Download Wine 20031212 2. Apply patch to dlls/ntdll/virtual.c http://www.winehq.org/hypermail/wine-patches/2004/02/0212.html (this has been checked into CVS and will be available in the first snapshot after 20040213) 3. Compile & Install 4. Use the IE 6 install script found here: http://bylands.dur.ac.uk/~mh/wine-ie/ 5. Install DCOM98.EXE - WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ole=n" wine dcom98.exe 6. Mirek, are about to investigate on this problem? OTOH, patch-hiding-the-problem could be done by commenting mentioned line in scroll.c to help you resolve critical situation.
