Hmm, well yes, that did fix the error, and apparently their newest release made
it go away but.. they just hid the problem, its got something to do with
recognizing the cd serial or something, the game still says "Please insert cd"
and amazingly enough diablo2 ( not the nocd one ) says the same thing!! think
theres any future in figuring out this? anyway i'm closing it since the
dwIoControlCode errors gone :D

that's not a bug, i suppose. also you can try running wine as:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES=ole32,rpcrt4,oleaut=n wine ...
or like. can AutoCAD 2000 be started up with wine at your system? can you draw
with it? if yes, i'd rather close this bug.

Summary: Installing Microsoft Word disturbs winecfg 'about'
window
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-gui
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: h_jessen(a)hotmail.com
When I install Microsoft Word 97 (or 2000 if I remember correctly) the fonts get
smaller in all Windows programs I run.
Besides being annoying, it sometimes disturbes the layout of a window or dialog
- winecfg is currently a particularly good example because it makes the text and
bitmap on the 'about' page overlap.
I have grapped a screen shot of the 'about' window before and after installing
Word if that can be of any use.
Today I tested this with the latest CVS tip but it has been this way for quite
some time.
