Once game is launched, you see its messages in the terminal, but you can run another programs and cannot kill it with Ctrl-C. Is your version exactly v1.09 ? I am very interested in this possible difference. On the offtopic: I am very curious - what is happening, when you launch 'wine Diablo.exe' in 8-bit mode using nvidias native drivers. If answer will be more of an offtopic, please write me an e-mail message. I'd have to rewrite the config and probably reboot to get rid of the nvidia binaries to test it. But this is off-topic. I forgot to mention that my Diablo is v1.09, originally installed and updated with Wine, and no Windows anywhere.
