Run wine notepad 2. Select any of these fonts: Courier, MS Sans Serif, System 3. The sample shown is garbled Oddly, clicking on the font name again to reselect it produces a clear image. It seems the redraw is correct but the original draw is not. The font problem also affects a proprietary application which uses these fonts (I think MS Sans Serif). Whenever I try to start ZBrush 2, it shows a popup ("You must unload your debugger before you can run this program.") and exits. >From the console output, it tries to load sice.vxd and siwvid.vxd (SoftIce I think?). Changing the Windows version to NT40, as suggested by the fixme doesn't help. It's obviously part of the copy protection scheme, ZBrush uses a serial number.
