Hey, Benjamin, you didn't show what wine prints in its output without any debug
channels.
And if you can, please run it with a WINEDEBUG=+relay set. Then show us about
2000 of lines from the tail of the wine output (by attaching them to the
bugreport). It should also contain stack backtrace in winedbg form which is
done automatically as soon as wine debugger is launched. (not one from WoW logs,
which doesn't find lots of debug symbols for some reason.
winedbg backtrace should show us a file function from which segfaults. The we
will know what debug channels we shoud use, I guess.

Ok.. I like that we can get it to work by force passing D#D_OK, but I dont like
the fact that we have to hack that to work.. I will try hacking that code
myseld and see what results i come up with, as well as using native ms dll, once
I am done with sys overhaul..

Well I am using builtin, and it runs, just takes forever to load. I'm using a
sempron (hey it was free ;-) ) 2600, so it may just be the small amount of cache
or something.. who knows. I will try with native later on, Im in the middle of
a core overhaul (alsa/kernel)..

Yes, we know it still exists. Unfortunately this isnt a simple problem to
workaround in the wine sources. The elder developers have had a look at this
bug, and have determined it to be due to bugs in the Xorg X server.. They have
contacted the developers of X and are working on a fix, but in the meantime,
your best bet is to roll your X install back (if possible) to Xorg 6.8.1.. That
worked for me, and I am having no problems. I should highly advised you that if
you do that though, you could be potentially exposing yourself to attack, due to
the bugs that were fixed in 6.8.2, and that is a risk that I am willing to take
only because my linux box is not something essential....
For now, resolving as later..

I thought that this bug was fixed in 0.9.1 but after further testing I was able
to still reproduce the bug. Clicking on the main lobby taskbar icon after
bringing up a regular table or a tournament lobby results in the same issue. If
you use the 'Main Lobby' button on a regular table or a tournament lobby first,
then the main lobby taskbar icon will work correctly. Can you please Reopen this
bug. Thanks.

I haven't seen that javascript error myself, but
I'll look for it.
Which version of Wine are you using?
FWIW, that javascript error has been reported
on windows several times, and once before for wine.
Here's the text from the old frank's corner forum:
---snip---
anzesk
I had the same problem, using DLLs (as Frank suggested, except that I copied
them to fake_windows) from Win98 helped.
But I'm stuck a little further down the road... Could someone give me a hint? DW
complains:
"The following JavaScript error(s) occured:
At line 1 of '...startup/helpdocs.js':
Reference Error: MM is not defined."
Any idea how to get past this or at least figure out what is wrong?
Maybe I should mention that after this JavaScript error Wine eats all the CPU
and does nothing. For long time.
Frank
Install Windows Script:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/winscript56/Install/5.6/W9XNT4Me/EN-…
--- snip ---
No idea if Windows Script is related, or if it'll run on wine.

ghm.. It is not hangs as I can see on my desktop.
It displays a message box under the splash screen so this box can't be visible
and waits for user choice. Message text is something like this:
The following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
At line 1 of file "...helpDocs.js":
ReferenceError: MM is not defined
Dreamweaver will start under Wine-0.9.1 but displaying such messages anyway.

Not easily, it was about five months ago when I last tried to run WoW on Linux
and so much has changed on my system since then it could be caused by any number
of things. Since then, I've had a system reinstall, new kernel version, the
Debian switch from XFree86 -> XOrg, lord knows how many libraries being
updated, etc. The old versions of whatever I was using are no longer available
from the Debian archive, I'd have to recompile XFree86 manually as well and I
wouldn't even have the same version because of Debian patches. WoW will likely
no longer run with a version of Wine that old. I can try running regressions on
Dinput (since that's the likely culprit) and see what I can turn up.
