Summary: IWineD3DBaseTextureImpl_BindTexture - 500 from
glGenTextures
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.26.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: FreeBSD
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: LoN_Kamikaze(a)gmx.de
CC: LoN_Kamikaze(a)gmx.de
The problem shows as terrain, trees and buildings in Battlereams not being
textured (or lightened) and instead displayed in the fog of war colour.
Imagine you can only see buildings by putting units behind them or selecting them.
For the real info, please have a look at the attachment.

This bug seems invalid. All is fine with nvidia driver 8776. The shift appears
with nvidia driver 9629. So, I don't know whether it is a problem with wine or
with nvidia driver.
Mark it as invalid... Will reopen it if it appears to be a problem with wine.

Hangs for me on FC6, ext3, LANG=en_US.UTF-8, TZ is unset, 32-bit CPU. Repeating
with TZ=US/Pacific also hangs.

oh, I confused myself. To clarify:
0.9.22 works only with native msvcrt. It needs to be the wine default dll.
0.9.26 works with both, native and _builtin_ msvcrt.
The app now displays its main window with most menus and toolbars, but is then
not accessible via mouse or keyboard. Not sure if it is frozen or just not being
able to accept input.

Can you compile Wine from source? Or install debug package (if available)?
Unfortunately you have stripped binaries that doesn't tell that much.
Also, is there a setting that can select TCP/IP as the only protocol? It looks
like it tries to use "netbios"?
All I can see there is that we have few ole threads waiting, few threads waiting
in "nnetbios", and several more that's hard to tell what they are doing.
