I created bug #6597 after I noticed this bug, and I believe it has the same root
cause which doesn't relate to the browser but rather to the shockwave add-on.

t35t0r, that means ies4linux overrides too much dlls to load as native. And
code of native DLLs is harder to debug.
If you could reduce count of native DLLs to the very minimal and then report
exact list of them (+process,+tid,+loaddll debug channels would suffice, I
believe), then maybe someone would help you...
BTW, have you tried installing IE6 without native DLLs and seeing if it works?

Maybe it's worth creating new bug report?

Ok basically the thing is this:
Under windows you execute Juiced.exe for the first time, it automatically
launches JuicedConfig.exe and after you made your settings, game starts.
Wine misses somehow to execute the the game after the settings dialog.

Any news on this bug? It seems to be around a few (?) years now with a working
solution. If the diff has been tested (no side effects) I suggest to finally
commit it ... otherwise it will never help anyone.

Output while running the installer
These are the interesting ones from the log I think:
err:msi:extract_cabinet_file FDICopy failed
err:msi:ACTION_InstallFiles Unable to ready media
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"InstallFinalize" returned
1627
It actually shows up as a message box:
Title = "Feature Transfer Error"
Message = "Error: -1627 ERROR_FUNCTION_FAILED"

I believe the patch would have to be applied to the source code prior to
compilation.
It would appear the bug is marked as 'unconfirmed' simply because nobody has yet
clicked on the "Confirm bug" button. I tried clicking on the button, but got a
big RED message that only the owner, submitter, or sufficiently empowered user
is allowed to do that. I'm seeing the same behavior, so it looks like four of
us. The original reporter should be able to change it to 'new' from 'unconfirmed'.
Unless I'm mistaken, the remarks in comments #1 and #5 are saying the same thing
about importing the Column_EN registry setting from a Windhose installation,
seeing the correct columns, then seeing the columns disappear after selecting
another tab and returning to the 'individual' tab.

I haven't the faintest idea as to what to do with a patch nor can I understand
why this bug remains as "unconfirmed". I know I'm not the only one to have the
problem.
I've made a discovery, however. In a Windows installation I've found that the
Individual tab headings are in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER -- SOFTWARE -- LDS CHURCH
-- Personal Ancestral File 5 -- Column EN -- binary value. If I import this key
and run PAF the Individual page is correctly displayed. However, upon clicking
another tab and then returning to Individual screen the display is blank once more.
Looks like Wine is overwriting the registry value as the user moves from display
screen to display screen.

This is probably a dup of bug #6183.
Disable the sound and you can go ingame with highest video settings.
Seems that all Need for Speed Games from Underground 1 to Most Wanted suffer
from this problem.
