We don't intend to change Wine for your kernel configuration either ;)
Unfortunately we couldn't even if we wanted to, as we need to be compatible with
the Windows address space.

Do you have the same problems with the demo? That one runs (well enough) fine here.

first: the virtual memory bug is a 64bit bug only
second, and regarding to ur problem: massive changes has been made to wined3d in
the last time, so regressions are possible
Try to disable the vertex or pixel shaders in winecfg
these renderstates errors are harmless

Hi there...
I've been working on it. I've got the same results more or less as wine 0.9.11
(bug 4975). I've been doing the manual install as well, and the error are
similar to the attachment here:
http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=2307&action=view
The GLX errors are not reproducible here, as I've not experienced those.
If I may propose, bugs 4975 and 5087 be merged as one, since this error started
occuring at the same time whatever patches were introduced in 02-28-2006

CreateBitmap() can only create monochrome bitmaps or bitmaps with the same
depth as the screen. This error message is correct.
Which application has this problem? How can it be reproduced?
