Thus I get a screen in the resolution the app is using. To use it, I ran travel\setup.exe from the DVD and the setup just stops, before the "real thing" starts. I also set the Windows version to Windows 98. But the error also happens, when I remove my ~/.wine directory and just use the default settings. I am running xfce, and it doesn't embed any sound server. BTW, i experienced dsound buffer under-run with Warcraft 3 as well.
