I talked about the "first chapter" because the real first part is called "The prologue". Make sure and remove ~/.wine dir before you test. Check that your cdrom drive is mapped to one of the Wine drives ex d: (using winecfg). Also please 'cd' into program's dir when you run it. And don't use *NIX paths with Wine ex: cd /mnt/cdrom && wine setup.exe or cd /mnt/cdrom && wine "d:\setup.exe" And please don't paste huge amounts of text here. Another interesting thing I've noted is that this crash looks suspiciously like the crash when trying to quit the game normally. It looks like MP2 is freeing resources in a way we didn't expect it to in both cases and ends up dying.
