I recently try this game and found it almost OK.
The problem is strange behavior of mouse ,so it is almost impassible to select
anything in main menu.Alternative keyboard method ,does not work too.
Wine 0.9.20 does the same.
Have thousands of this in console, but I'm not shure it is related to bug.

No, my gcc doesn't have -fstack-protector turned on.
The point is, we can't setup %gs in wine-preloader, so if -fstack-protector
depends on that, we can't use it for wine-preloader.
If the stack protector code assumes that a program is linked with glibc (which
is unreasonable, imo) then it can't be used with wine-preloader.
If Ubuntu uses -fstack-protector by default, you have to find some way to turn
it off.

Mike, are you sure the stack protector is turned on in the GCC you're using? I
think it might not be in Debian but is in Ubuntu. There's some more information
in the launchpad thread linked above, as well.

Also, I'll note that text can still be selected, cut, copy, and pasted into the
field when it's in this state, even though no typing is allowed. You can even
delete parts of the text through careful use of cut.

This is still a problem with eMule 0.47a and Wine 0.9.20. The problem is still
the same as described above.

Summary: eMule's "minimize to systray" feature does not work
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-gui
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: scott(a)open-vote.org
In both versions before and after the XEMBED system tray support, setting
eMule's preferences to "minimize to system tray" has no function. Instead, the
program will just minimize normally to the GNOME taskbar, rather than create a
system tray icon and minimize to that.
