Additionally, there is flickering in the lower-left hand part of the screen. This bug is similar to the nVidia bug that the patch fixed for 0.9.18. I found a workaround for this: sudo vim /etc/X11/xorg.conf: Go to the part where it says: Section "Device" Identifier "ATI Technologies, Inc. ATI Default Card" Driver "fglrx" BusID "PCI:2:0:0" EndSection Make sure to add these lines AFTER BusID, and before EndSection: Option "Capabilities" "0x00000800" Option "UseFastTLS" "off" Option "KernelModuleParm" "locked-userpages=0" Then exit vim (or your favorite editor). Reset your desktop manager (ctrl+alt+bkspace). The actual game works otherwise (at least level 1 start). To get the game working properly (fast), I changed DrawDll in HitmanContracts.ini to "RenderOpenGL.dll".
