The cause of the problem exactly the same as 1410. Only during the game play and
not the menu.

Summary: World of Warcraft and ATI Radeon X Series cards crash
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.19.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: wine-programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kain(a)teamclerks.net
Ubuntu 6.06.1 Dapper Drake
AMD64x2 AsusSLI-Deluxe
1024 DDR2
ATI X1800XT 256MB
Wine 0.9.19
When you enter or leave buildings the game will crash. Additionally, there is
flickering in the lower-left hand part of the screen.
This bug is similar to the nVidia bug that the patch fixed for 0.9.18. I haven't
had success with rolling my own wine (it breaks my ((finally)) working CS 1.6
installation) so I would like to see if anyone else has had this problem and
found if rolling their own patched version will fix it.

SOLUTION FOR ATI CARDS:
It seems that many people with ATI cards (probably only the X series as well,
but that is untested as of yet) are experiencing a crash a few seconds after (or
as soon as) they log into the game. I found a workaround for this:
sudo vim /etc/X11/xorg.conf:
Go to the part where it says:
Section "Device"
Identifier "ATI Technologies, Inc. ATI Default Card"
Driver "fglrx"
BusID "PCI:2:0:0"
EndSection
Make sure to add these lines AFTER BusID, and before EndSection:
Option "Capabilities" "0x00000800"
Option "UseFastTLS" "off"
Option "KernelModuleParm" "locked-userpages=0"
Then exit vim (or your favorite editor). Reset your desktop manager
(ctrl+alt+bkspace).
This fixes the "login and freeze" crash, but you may STILL freeze on
entering/exiting buildings.

The installer is loading the WebBrowser control and trying to navigate to:
C:\\windows\\temp\\Corel\\CFC62792-2F35-11DB-C687-00E000EB98AF\\Programs\\Pcuui\\Container.htm
This fails to load, and the install halts. Changing the component to
wine-shdocvw. Assigning to Jacek. I'll attach a log after this.

Summary: Hitman Contracts regonizes mouse movement, but not any
mouse buttons
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.19.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rchayster(a)gmail.com
Hitman Contracts doesn't react when I press mouse buttons, but it regonizes the
keyboard and mouse movement. The actual game works otherwise (at least level 1
start).
To get the game working properly (fast), I changed DrawDll in
HitmanContracts.ini to "RenderOpenGL.dll".
Also, the .bik videos at start are just a blank screen, I can hear the sound though
