Summary: Window Decoration Missing

image of what I mean
I think this started with wine 0.9.42. When I run *any* application the window
decoration is missing.
Eg the top bar which you can grab to move a window, or close with [x],
minimize, etc. For these windows ALT+click move doesn't work either. Some of
the applications regain this window decoration after a while and then behave
normally. Until then these windows are always-on-top and have no icon in the
taskbar.
I am running compiz right now, but I don't think this is the issue, as in wine
0.9.41 things worked just right. See the attached screenshot for what I mean.
I will revert back to 0.9.41 to double check this, but not now as utorrent is
busy downloading...eh..linux isos.

basic output dump when running program and getting to main menu
Application: Star Wars(R): Knights of the Old Republic(TM) v1.03
I've recently managed to install KOTOR off the Best of PC DVD set, and noticed
that the standard mouse cursor won't display unless the left mouse button is
held down. Other custom context-based cursors, however, will display when no
buttons are held down (e.g. the hand icon when the mouse is over the
footlocker, or the arrow when hovering over doors).
I am not able to display the cursor in a screenshot, and am not sure currently
of other ways to give examples.

The files Crosshairs.ttf, HUDfont.ttf, and HUDfont_caps.ttf in Fortress Forever
cause the game to crash upon launching. Removal of these files fixes the
problem, but in turn causes the in-game GUI to become invisible. Attached is
the log of the crash with the font files in use.

backtrace log
Attempting to load one of those cellphone unlocker proggies for Windows makes
Wine crash after several attempts at loading OpenGL. Some kind of weird
looping, which doesn't normally happen. The crash happens after several
messages related with ntdll.dll.RtlPushFrame.
Worth fixing? Very likely if it also happens in bigger programs like AutoCAD
and Photoshop. If not, I guess don't bother for now.
Backtrace available as an attachment.

If I have a list view with editors, clicking on other items in the list view
doesn't remove the editing windows. Meaning, I have a richedit editing an
item, and I click on another list view item, the first richedit doesn't go
away.
Using keys to navigate instead works fine.
I'm seeing this problem in Personal Ancestral File 5.2.
I commented out the SetFocus() done in LISTVIEW_LButtonDown(), and the problem
went away. Though I'm not sure that's the right fix.

Summary: pxtone: Can't save new project files (*.ptcop), or
*.pttune
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.44.
Platform: Other
URL: http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA022293/pxtone.html
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: wine-files
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: trick(a)icculus.org
Using pxtone (v 0.8.3.3), everything seems to work perfectly, *except* for
saving a new .ptcop project file (also some d3d warnings in the terminal, but
those seem harmless). Exporting to .pttune also doesn't work. Attempting to
save either of these results in a dialog box titled "error" containing the text
"open file". Interestingly, exporting to new .wav files works fine. (Wild
shot in the dark, but could this be related to the filename extension of both
.ptcop and .pttune being more than 3 chars?) Ran with freshly generated
~/.wine, and changing the emulated Windows version has no effect.
Loading existing .ptcop files work fine. Saving to existing .ptcop files also
work fine. Thus, the problem is only saving to new .ptcop files (and .pttune
files) that doesn't already exist in the file system. (This also works fine in
real Windows.)
Using pxtone v 0.8.3.3, available from this page:
<http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA022293/pxtone.html>
Steps to reproduce (works every time):
1. Download pxtone: <http://homepage2.nifty.com/rochet/storage/pxtone_0833.zip>
2. Delete japanese.ico to enable english mode
3. Run the program, go to File->Save project or File->Save project as
4. Enter a new filename, click save
5. Watch error dialog pop up
