Still experiencing this bug in 0.9.50. Similar, but different output.

The bug also exists in 0.9.50, though the workaround still works in outdoors
areas.

The closing/opening of steam to get a "clean shutdown" never worked for me,
there were ALWAYS errors after "shutting down..." I was unable to start TF2
unless I ditched by blob. If you would like to keep your cache, however, try
this workaround: In Steam->File->Settings -> Interface Tab -> Skin, change the
skin and say okay to the restart dialog. Clean restart every time.

PS My part of this bug applies to wine version 0.9.44. (As delivered with
Debian GNU/Linux testing/unstable.
