Summary: add glu32.dll compilation notice
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.50.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P4
Component: wine-opengl
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: sir-lexa(a)yandex.ru
Problem was game was not working. I got message:
err:module:import_dll Library GLU32.dll (which is needed by
L"Z:\\home\\shared\\GAMES_win\\Action Ball\\Action Ball\\actionball.RWG") not
found
Installing development files is solution.
I think you should add notice in 'configure' script about absence of needed
library for this dll too.
(in my case needed package is libglu1-mesa-dev)
Application tested: Action Ball (game)
OS: Ubuntu 7.10 x86
---
p.s. I already fixed problem myself before I found package name in recommended
packages shell script for Ubuntu. So running configure script said nothing
about absence of needed development files, and 'recommended packages' page also
doesn't contain "libglu1-mesa-dev" package name - only script does.
---
p.p.s. Also you could add link to the recommended packages page
(http://wiki.winehq.org/Recommended_Packages) to README file in root source
directory.
Also you could fix 'recommended packages' page for my case.

Confirming. As a workaround, using CTRL + F allows you to search.
Wine 0.9.50, Kubuntu gutsy.

Wine Output with glsl enabled on wine .50
B&W2 v1.2
Recorded on a 2.6.23.9 kernel, ATI 1250 on board card, driver is fglrx 7.11.
Main Menu is fine on a first look, but after setting some options the font is
broken (no text readable anymore).
With glsl enabled it also crashes before the video, disabled, it hangs after 5
seconds of the video.

Well, I fugered there was a reason for never making OpenGL the default . . . .
I'm sorry, I'll reopen it.

How is this invalid OR wontfix? Is someone not allowed to use that setting
even if it isn't the default?

It may not be invalid, but since OpenGL rendering will never be the default
DirectDraw renderer, I think this is a WONTFIX.
