I want to be sure my registry is clean. As default behaviour, what's the best thing to do if you find the registry files missing? - probably recreate a fresh default registry. - and this would help me, because my ~/.wine/dosdevices/ contains 8 symlinks, and my 'drive_c' is a symlink to a mountpoint subdir. Thus putting my ~/.wine/ dir back together is a pain. But are the stubs in any way modified for individual users? Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: wine-files AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: a.hurst(a)shef.ac.uk In order to get wine to rebuild your registry (after corruption, or if you simply want a clean out-of-the-box registry) one currently has to delete the entire ~/.wine/ directory. This gets rid of all your drive mappings, and requires you to backup your 'drive_c' if stored here.
