I can use a regular DB9 cable connecting to the serial ports. >From what I've researched, this "fixme" is normal when communicating at most times too. As mentioned, this will probably cause crashes if you're not using OSS with full acceleration, although you can modify dsoundrenderer.c to use a 16KB buffer to work around that.
