Hi, I attach simple 'AddFontMemResourceEx" API test program. My "AddFontMemResourceEx" patch is easy method, but I think this method is not good method. it's just temperary implementation. I think "this patch and attached test program" provides some idea for {Add/Remove}FontMemResourceEx implementation to wine people. The application switches to full screen mode and then displays a dialog box saying "C:\dev\phoenix\display\win32\win32window.cpp (873): **fatal error**: Could not create display buffers". After pressing ok, I get an "Abnormal program termination" message from the MSVC runtime. Clicking ok on that shuts the app down. And I'm sorry I assumed all games work in the same way when they don't. I've only ever seen wine behave in one way: by warping the pointer back to the windows centre. This bug is the departure from that behaviour. All I needed to hear was: (1) Duplicate of 6971. (2) Judging by the description, AvP probably doesn't use dinput warping. I imagine a whole swathe of regression bugs turning up isn't fun, but I'm just trying to help out.
