The test run even doesn't reach the interesting tests by failing much earlier.
That's a very bad sign: *all* the Wine tests should pass cleanly, otherwise
the apps that actually use the functionality the tests are exercising will
fail in a million of hardly debuggable weird ways.
You may try to run the thread and process tests by hand though, and see how
it goes:
../../../tools/runtest -q -P wine -M kernel32.dll -T ../../.. -p
kernel32_test.exe.so thread.c
../../../tools/runtest -q -P wine -M kernel32.dll -T ../../.. -p
kernel32_test.exe.so process.c
It's up to FreeBSD community to help fixing appropriate functionality in Wine,
most of active Wine developers work under Linux or Mac these days.

I recompiled current GIT, and something different but still broken happened.
I started typing my search request, and then the autocomplete dropdown popped
up. I clicked the top one. This time it didn't crash, and my text completed.
I went back to Firefox to report the bug as closed, but then noticed that the
popup field was still there (although now it only contained one item, the one I
clicked) - it was weirdly hovering on top of ALL windows.
I went back to eMule to check things out. My text was there, with the popup
(with now matching text as the only entry) - I clicked it again, and eMule
crashed. I attached a terminal log.

You can bisect, and every time before compiling apply your patch with
patch -p1 < ...
Before doing the git bisect bad | good you should do a git checkout -f to
avoid to confuse git.
But from looking at the log it seems that the DEPTHFILL thing is the reason.
There is already a bug report for that with a proposed patch attached(which
was never committed to wine). I don't know the number though, but it is about
a game called X-Wing Alliance I think.

Seems that it may be an issue with the x86_64 kernel since Lei was able to get
it working with a 32 bit kernel. After I reboot to use a 32 bit kernel, 0.9.11
also ran without any problems for me. However, trying to run strace to determine
the sequence of system calls used crashed the program on both 32 bit and 64 bit
kernels. Valgrind produced the following 2 output files.
