I think I found the download link; see URL above.
But I can't even get to the screen the original problem is in!
For me, the installer FPNC.exe hangs in the
"Starting installshield installer" splash screen.
Changing subject to be more generic.
It's definitely not an msi installer, as +msi shows nothing.
Native dcom doesn't help.
+relay gets it past the splash screen (annoyingly),
but it still hangs shortly thereafter. Pressing ^C
in the console brings up a dialog "DLL function
call crashed: rfinstall.InRfPDFConverter".
Looking through +relay output for PDF, I see it's using
something called RF_PDF_Install.exe. Googling that, I see
that it hangs sometimes on win98, too:

Exported files for MSI file when running Orca under WinXP SP2
These files are the ones generated when running Orca under WinXP, just to weed
out any problems caused by incomplete implementations of MSI under Wine. This
export showed at least 2 bugs 1) Orca is unable to display any rows from any
tables under Wine, but works fine in WinXP, and 2) Export fails for the Binary
and Icon tables, as noted previously in Wine, but not in WinXP. But of course,
this is the subject of another bug report.

That's definitely an old wine version. Have you perhaps got another wine version
installed somewhere?

Hi, i found the cause of this i think, in a +relay trace there's an endless
sequence of :
0009:Call ws2_32.gethostbyname(004a4770 "localhost") ret=004f70d2
0009:Call ntdll.RtlAllocateHeap(00110000,00000000,00000400) ret=60c444f1
0009:Ret ntdll.RtlAllocateHeap() retval=0019abc8 ret=60c444f1
0009:Call ntdll.RtlFreeHeap(00110000,00000000,0019abc8) ret=60c445b4
0009:Ret ntdll.RtlFreeHeap() retval=00000001 ret=60c445b4
0009:Ret ws2_32.gethostbyname() retval=00000000 ret=004f70d29
Now in /etc/hosts i only have this line:
::1 localhost.localdomain localhost
in my old fedora installation it looked like:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
If I change it back to the second line, and reinstall FreddiKelp, it starts
fine again. Question is, is this a problem with newest fedora configuration, or
does ws2_32 handle this incorrectly?

hi!
(sorry for my english i'm a french boy)
I have the same problem. Before 2.0.12, WoW worked with no problem in opengl
mode but after the update, the game crash at startup and i need to reboot my
computer (an acces with ssh to kill the process doesn't work) I was using wine
0.9.22 and so i have try to update to 0.9.29, and to 0.9.34, but the problem
still exist. Sometimes (after a lot of crash) i can run the game: when i'm in
the game, i have no problem and the game still to work perfectly...

Can I do more for help?? I apply the patch properly (patch -p1 -i patch.diff, I
copie the path for the wine directory) and compile wine again. I don't receive
messengers with errors in ./configure or compilation.
All the errors when the RF start the instalation in correct directory
(c:\programfiles\RF Online, for example).

Wine 0.9.34 & the 04/03 patch..
Agree'd it appears to work perfectly with the Model Viewer.
With the Toolset it (mostly) works. The window is in the correct location,
rotates around, etc, etc, correctly. However, if you attempt to use one of the
menu's. The main opengl window stops updating, until you cause the whole
window to refresh. (such as by putting another window on top of it.)
Perhaps its drawing to the wrong "place"?
(thx)
David

Summary: Some apps can't capture the mouse
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.34.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-dinput

No matter what settings I use, Unreal Tournament 2004 doesn't capture the mouse,
making it unplayable as the mouse leaves the window. Unreal Tournament, however,
captures the mouse without a problem.
I tried using a native dinput, but then nothing will start at all.

fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 0x501 from extension detection
Do you mean this by "errors from extension tetection"? What does the 0x501 signify?
I have a Intel I915GM inside my laptop, which is driven by the i810 driver.
Are you sure you tried the Resistance Demo? It shows the same symptoms for me.
I am currently running Xorg 6.9.0, which is the newest package I can find for
debian stable. Could you maybe provide a minimal OpenGL program which would
expose this bug?

tempted to say this is a driver bug.

Those look perfectly ok, the clear should be done on the whole screen.
It may be a bug in your driver. The errors you get back from extension
detection are strange too. Which card do you have? And please make sure to
install the latest drivers.

I added a TRACE statement after each of the three glScissor calls.
Here's the log, still with glEnable(GL_SCISSOR_TEST) commented out.
BTW, I run OFP:R in a 1024x768 virtual desktop.

The strange thing is before the patch (WoW 2.0.10) all worked fine, even if the
FPS (in opengl mode) was not high.
Now it doesn't start anymore and it freezes the keyboard and screen. I read in
the patch notes they have changed something in the multithreaded opengl support
(for MAC), maybe for some strange reasons this impacts also the Windows part.
I don't know.

Hi, this is a followup of bug 7953. I get a nice crash in comctl32 trying to the
app. Steps to reproduce:
1. Work around bug 7953 by applying first patch :
http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=5642&action=view
2. Install neocron, when it starts i selected "Uruguay", as with "United states"
you have toi provide a zip code, that i don not know.
3. The wine-gecko window comes up, just install it.
4. Now delect "File->Trace" , and it crashes. Crash log hereafter. Looks like a
problem with unicode conversion.

For reference, I just tested WoW, and it did not crash.
I am running 7.1 without AIGLX. I am using standard Nvidia display drivers.
Xserver is also set to 24bpp. I wonder if it has to do with Xorg 7.2.0 or your
intel card.
