I gave it a try, and it crashes immediately. Looks like a problem with a registrykey: If i change the registry key HKLM\Software\Classes\http\shel\open\command from "winebrowser" to "winebrowser.exe -url "%1"" it starts just fine. Maybe we are setting this key wrong. It appears that just having a pointer to the allocated heap memory should be enough for the RtlWalkHeap. While Wine relies on the size to be initialized as well. I reverted back to current git (at least I hope so) and commented out line 4200 in dlls/wined3d/device.c. The log goes until the main menu is visible (which displays graphics rendered by the engine).
