------- Additional Comments From rob(a)codeweavers.com 2007-03-04 16:07 -------
16-bit OLE isn't very well implemented and since it used by very few programs, I'm not going to start
doing so any time soon.
I've changed the title to more accurately reflect the backtrace in the logs you attached. Note that you don't
need to tar + bzip2 compress the contents of tiny files like this - just attach them directly.

No, I'm using fixme as a generality. I'll rephrase. fixme's/err's are not bugs.

This is not solved yet , I'm having the exact same trouble when runining
3DMark03 in win2k mode.
If I run 3DMark03 in win9x or winME mode the application works
Wine 0.9.34 , Ubuntu 6.10
Uotput from terminal attached.

Exported files for MSI file
Thanks for the link.
I installed Orca, but when executing it on the file, all tables are displayed
with 0 rows! I don't know if this is normal or the same (or different) bug in
msi. When selecting "Export tables", all tables exported except for:
`Binary` failed to export
`Icon` failed to export

The message is, in fact, "err" and not "fixme". Perhaps this, in and of
itself, is the bug?

Currently looking for Orca. In the meantime, I noticed that Lexinst.dll really
exists in the temporary directory:
[alex@srv64 temp]$ ls -lR
.:
total 21624
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 1208 abr 3 13:20
DLL_{6044AD6D-F35A-41F9-875B-156176B1C2A9}.ini
drwxrwxr-x 2 alex alex 4096 abr 3 13:20 _is1abd

-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 0 abr 3 11:53 is8b26.tmp
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 0 abr 3 11:54 is8c86.tmp
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 229457 abr 3 13:20 Lexinst.dll
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 47 abr 3 11:54 LEXINST.TMP
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 21513216 abr 3 13:20 msi571a.tmp
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 217088 abr 3 13:20 msi5f30.tmp
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 81920 abr 3 13:20 msi6036.tmp
./_is1abd:
total 21072
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 6265 abr 3 13:20 0x040a.ini
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 158 abr 3 13:20 _ISMSIDEL.INI
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 1928 abr 3 13:20 Setup.INI
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 21513216 abr 3 13:20 Silecpro 5.msi
So, the problem is not that the DLL was not extracted, but rather, the query
fails to find information about some operation to do with it. BTW, I assume that
the MSI file to open should be "_is1abd/Silecpro 5.msi", right?

I don't think bugzilla will allow that. What I need is the information in the
Binary table. If you have Orca installed (in Wine or Windows) you can open the
msi file, right click on the Binary table and select Export. That attachment
should be rather small.

Confirming. It's indeed a bug in comctl32. You could do quick regression test,
as you know it must be a commit to comctl32 that broke Shareaza
