No, you are wrong about that. The iso is mounted rw, with the following options:
vfat loop,offset=32256,uid=1000,gid=1000
I can successfully create files, edit them, and delete them within the image.
What do you mean "install the program properly on wine"? I do not have the
original install media (floppies have either been lost or trashed) so I cannot
just reinstall.

Summary: P-CAD drawings printing issue
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.35.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: FreeBSD
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: wine-gdi-(printing)
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: c-h(a)mail.ru
Hm... I don't now whether I need to write here or to CUPS team... I have problem
when I print PCB from P-CAD (but other apps under wine works similarly). Each
line taken out to printer, printed as small rectangle. But P-CAD, while building
up polyline, imply that each line terminated by semicircle. Due this trouble all
chains seems ragged and such drawings not possible to use for PCB manufacturing.
I try to print to PS-printer (Ricoh Aficio 2016), CUPS-PDF, and get formed
PS-file from spooler directory - all three drawings seems identical. Printing
from P-CAD to PS-file under WinXP works normally.

Summary: notepad does fully not display long (>32K) one-line
files
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.35.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-misc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rm.riches(a)verizon.net
While working on bug #8156, it was discovered that Wine's notepad fails to fully
display a long (>32K) file. Also, cursor movement is incorrect near the bottom
of what it does display. I'm told there are problems selecting text near the
end of the displayed part of the file if word wrap is enabled.
There should be 30 "verses" displayed. In my case, less than five are displayed.
The root cause of this bug may be related to or the same as that of bug #8156.
The test file is already posted as an attachment to bug #8156:

works as well as it did with 0.9.34.

That would be correct. Install the program properly on Wine. And don't use

Status: UNCONFIRMED

When I try to run NGS TOPO! version 2.7.6 it starts, but I get
a page fault with backtrace when I select the state I want to
look at. TOPO did work with older versions of Wine (like 20041019),
but has not worked for over a year -- I have tried
Wine versions 0.9.17, 0.9.27, and 0.9.35.
Bug 8033 I think documents this same behavior for a newer version
of TOPO!

mshtml.patch
Here's a patch to fix the problem. It basically puts
This->readed += This->nsstream->buf_size;
where it was before the regression.
Can someone verify that it doesn't break utf-16?
And that the patch is correct.

Please don't download random DLLs from dll-files.com...
it's safer to download runtime installers from microsoft.com.
For instance, to download and install mdac2.7, you could do
wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks
sh winetricks fakeie6 mdac27
What is the name of the software? Got a URL that describes it?

Verification of SetupQueryRegisteredOsComponent prototype/stub impl
Hello,
the discussion regarding syssetup.dll.SetupQueryRegisteredOsComponent caught my
interest :)
Attached is an extended test case (originating from developer thread) which
contains the meaning of parameter/struct member data revealed (struct layout)
and a working implementation.
It could serve as sample for dozen other syssetup.dll api exports belonging to
this category (Register/Unregister/SetRegistered/Enumerate OS Setup
Components).
Both versions of this export (native windows and the impl) are compared against
each other to ensure the data returned is really at right place.
All struct member data is read from registry.
There is no magic involved (as implied in developer thread).
Only the "unused"/"reserved" fields at the tail of each struct gave me some
headache, but i came to conclusion it's just garbage from temporary stack copy
(see comments inside code).
Regards
