I have tried to install the Nokia PC Suite for the Nokia 6610 into a nearly
fresh wineprefix with version 0.9.34. There's the same problem. Nearly fresh
means that I had to install ie6 using ie4linux before. Afterwards I removed
all native library settings to use the wine builtins again.
Now I don't know wether to open a new bug or reopen this.

Thats going to be tricky. The last time I tried to compile an old version of
wine it failed miserably, because my version of gcc (and other associated tools)
had moved on.
I'll have another go at compiling an old version - it will take me a while though.

How do you "try the locale"? Looks like your test doesn't call setlocale() at
all.

Confirming it's a problem with the fglrx driver. Replacing the Radeon 9800 with
an NVIDIA 6800GT fixed the problem.

I realized that one of the file became corrupted recently. It works fine now.
I am now marking this as invalid. Sorry for the confusion.

Actually, the issue depicted in the third pair of images is only present when
using FBOs, it is not present with backbuffer as ORM.
Additionally, it seems that wine-0.9.{26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34} all render
the demo completely wrong (mostly black) when using FBOs instead of
backbuffer, but today's git and 0.9.25 are mostly fine with FBOs.

As comment #2 states it may not be a regression in wine but one of the core
Linux lib's have changed or change in the kernel. I could not get it to work
with older wine's I have tried that did work before upgrading hardware and
distribution.

Does this still happen for you with current Wine?
If you don't respond in a few months we might have to mark
