mgs2.exe \ mgs2_sse.exe can't even initialise or create logfile,instant crash.
many time has passed, many releases has been made, but still no changes here.
not sure,but i think it has something to do with DX8Sound
implementation..maybe game checking something, fails and dies? i don't know :(

I installed ToEE under wine 0.9.42 and used ToEE noCD "patch" to make
it working but the problem is it's very slow. top says X is using 95%
of CPU and ToEE.exe 4,7% - 2 biggest processes.
Also in terminal wine throws a lot of:

Using WINEDEBUG=-all doesn't solves the CPU usage.

I was not affected by this problem as I may have missed building when it was
active but I do have several 16 bit apps I depend on. I do watch for things that
may affect 16 bit code so it won't go away. I have noticed some minor errors in
the 16 bit to 32 bit dialogs but I can't build a test case without using Delphi
1 or Borland C++ 4.5.

I'm sorry, but i have the savegame on my desktop at my parent's house.
However, I found out that you can reproduce it easily by repeatedly clicking
one of the cards really fast.
I tried a few times with 0.9.42 now, and it has improved to a point where it
doesn't happen during normal gameplay anymore (I think). If you use the method
I just described it will happen anyway though.
I'm gonna try with the savegame and upload it if it still "works" when I'm back
at my parent's (maybe this weekend).
