New Wine have changed several things (surprise surprise) which require re-installation of all programs, Dependant on SxS. In Unreal II (The Awekening) you have no sound at all, Intro video plays (without sound) but pauses right before displaying the atari logo. You can press esc to skip it. When trying to load a game or start a new one, Unreal2 crashes and displays an error box, saying: "General protection fault!
