This kind of bug is fixed, and is what really should have been 1631. Application has a small (< 100 ms) buffer it keeps refilling over and over, and you get weird repeaty sounds. This kind of bug is not 1631 but is reported as such anyway, all bugs that have this behavior are the same bug anyway. Simon: For you it would be enough to set buffer to 200ms. rasz: As a workaround you could try at frequency 22050, 8 or 16 bit, and acceleration to 'Emulation'. My log file mentions that it can't load some save directory (8\Ankha\save). Once I make that directory inside the release directory the game starts but I'm stuck at the deck13 intro screen. I guess something is wrong with directories for some reason. The installer starts and finishes basically fine.
