NIKitosh, you seem to have configured wine to use all native d3d libraries,
which is hard for us to support.
(And doesn't that make the patch you applied moot?)

Unfortunately I can not tell if this is still an issue in current (0.9.52 or
newer) because I have permanently reverted to wine-0.9.10.
Is there anyone else who can comfirm that this bug is gone?

Created an attachment (id=10179)
--> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=10179)
Return DRIVE_REMOVABLE for every drive.
I did some more experiments. TomTom does rely on the new volume to be added
on the fly. After detecting a removable drive *by drive letter* it checks
each volume for its drive type *by volume id* and expects to find a
removable drive again.
With attached hack TomTom proceeds to call QueryDosDevice on each removable
drive, by volume id, which currently also fails on Wine.
To reproduce do the following:
0. apply attached patch (instead of the previous one)
1. wineserver -k
2. attach TomTom device
3. start winecfg, go to Drives tab and click Autodetect, click Ok
(works around the lack of dynamic volume creation)
4. start TomTom

With 0.9.53, things are worse. With 0.9.52, a progress bar was shown before the
crash, now there's nothing.

Not a wine bug. Upgrading intel x11-drivers to 2.1.1 fix this issue for me.
