Will reach your "goals" in no time. Those people who do care, will eventually give up creating new bugs for old problems. And developers will will get empty bugzilla - their ultimate goal. No, bugs needs to be fixed. Many people don't respond for months on end, or were not asked to do so. The only way to solve that is by asking users to verify that their bugs still exists, and close them if not. Otherwise, the number of bugs we have will simply continue to grow. But in the introduction of Team Fortress 2 and Half-life 2 Episode 2 it keeps happening. If that's the way Wine decided to close all bugs - then just select all that weren't touched in 6 month and delete them. To repeat: $ wget http://www.jsware.net/linux/riched.zip $ wget http://activex.microsoft.com/controls/vb6/richtx32.cab $ wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks $ rm -rf ~/.wine $ sh winetricks vbrun60 $ cd .wine/drive_c/windows/system32 $ cabextract ~/richtx32.cab $ wine regsvr32 richtx32.ocx $ cd ~ $ unzip riched.zip $ cd "RTB test" $ wine RichEdTest.exe type in a word that's in the big text into the search box, and then try the "find text" button. If you install native riched20 like this, $ wget http://download.microsoft.com/download/winntsp/Patch/RTF/NT4/EN-US/Q249973i… $ cabextract Q249973i.EXE $ mv riched20.dll riched32.dll .wine/drive_c/windows/system32 $ wine winectrl and set them both to native, the app's find and "color test api" work much better. Created a new prefix and install firefox 2.0.0.11 then install the plug in. Going to this url http://machunter.org/Imaging%20Infinity%20Show1.html has a version that starts in the paused mode. Note without a virtual desktop the plugin will go to the full screen mode and backspace (page back) can be used to regain the desktop. This seems like a regression as none of the right click menus now show but I have not run it since I changed to Ubuntu.
