With Wine 0.9.52 there are some battle sounds (sound will go in and out,
randomly), but if you move your character all the currently playing sounds
abruptly stop.

I'm not sure about no shaders, but the game does render differently when I turn
shaders on / off.

Hmm. If you right click on the system tray, click tools, and then getright
download target, you should be able to disable it. It wasn't enabled for me by
default, but when I enabled it, it looked pretty good. It wasn't a 1x1 pixel,
but the getright icon, with transparency behind the 'blank' pixels. I'm going
to resolve this fixed, since it sounds like A) the icon is the programs
feature/bug B) the icon works fine now.

You could try using "wine eject". That worked for me when I was installing
Gothic II. (wine eject --help for more information)

Created an attachment (id=10100)

Sample Delphi source and exe that shows problem
This uses the onform click event to copy the text from the edit box into the
file dialog file area. What happen on wine is the filter value is used in the
file name location. On win95 under qemu a default file name can be set so in a
save dialog no typing is require.

Patches welcome.
INHO the whole winecfg should be made wider. Apps list put on the left as a
separate control. The right side can stay as-is (all other tabs). This is more
common way for apps to change settings related to one particular thing.
