The current error appears to be that some HTTP headers (most importantly Content-Type) of the BlogThis! POST are not being sent. I've tracked this down to some odd interaction between urlmon/bindctx.c and shdocvw/navigate.c, but I don't have a fix yet. (XRandR) The problem i think is that the game is calling for a resolution but the XRandR program (its a program that changes screen res) cant find the resolution the game is calling for. What this probably means is that the resolution the game wants is not found in your xorg.conf file for gentoo 64bit but the right resolution is in your xorg.conf for your kubuntu 32bit installation. To fix: Use whatever text editor you use as root. Open /etc/X11/xorg.conf on your kubuntu installation. Find the section called 'screen' Find the line about metamodes. Write down these metamodes (or copy) then go into your gentoo installations /etc/X11/xorg.conf Paste or add any resolutions which are in you kubuntu xorg.conf but not in your gentoo one. All the different resolutions should be seperated by an ; if your using dual screens then your dual screen resolutions will be setup like this 1024x768,1024x767; (specifies both screens) if your using dual screens you also need to add single screen resolutions to the end ie 1024x768; it seems games running through wine in fullscreen mode will not work if you have two screens which is why you also need to add single screen res's. This will disable any second screen while you are in game but when you leave it will hopefully re-enable it doesnt for me though. i have to restart x. Save If your on gentoo right now then restart X If your on kubuntu restart your pc and boot gentoo. Now hopefully the game will run. Created a new prefix and install firefox 2.0.0.11 then install the plug in. Going to this url http://machunter.org/Imaging%20Infinity%20Show1.html has a version that starts in the paused mode. Note without a virtual desktop the plugin will go to the full screen mode and backspace (page back) can be used to regain the desktop. This seems like a regression as none of the right click menus now show but I have not run it since I changed to Ubuntu. Next problem is a null pointer reference in triedit.dll: fixme:msimtf:CActiveIMM_Create ((nil) {08c0e040-62d1-11d1-9326-0060b067b86e} 0x1faef34) fixme:ole:CoCreateInstance no instance created for interface {08c0e040-62d1-11d1-9326-0060b067b86e} of class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59}, hres is 0x80004002 wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000000 at address 0x59a051f0 (thread 0009), starting debugger... That UUID is IActiveIMMApp, so perhaps this is a gap in our msimtf implementation or its ecosystem? (You can also reproduce this by running VBEdit.exe from the same DHTML SDK. I retrieved a copy from an archive site; here's the sha1sum of the copy I retrieved: 3aeaa4b04f87d6bc4abe1c8e65963b51741bb520 dhedsdk.exe 1452151 bytes.) Anyway, the original problem seems solved.
