Are you sure FeedingFrenzy2 crashes with 0.9.52? I've been running it without

Confirming ... ER Viewer 7.2 requires windows 2000 or later.
I tried with 2k, XP, 2003, vista and wine 0.9.52
But this is an other bug than the bug i submit ...

If an avi can crash this program, but others play fine, the program could be
suspect to having a bug.
Also, there is no proper reporting on the crash. Need a backtace.

With wine-0.9.52-115-g910cf61:
Comments 20-22 still apply from what I can tell. The screenshot referenced
there is from less than a minute into the demo.
Also, and I only just noticed this, but shadows are not rendered when using
FBOs, while shadows are rendered when using backbuffer. Looking back, the
reason why I didn't notice this before is that shadows weren't rendered at all
with either ORM in the past. It seems that shadows started appearing somewhere
between 0.9.45 and 0.9.46, though the white dots and dark blocks were still a
problem there (those went away between 0.9.49 and 0.9.50).

Using ER Viewer 7.2 (7.0 is no longer available), the program aborts saying it
requires win 2000 or higher (I tried 2k & XP). The error dialog mentions
Microsoft Office plugin, so this may require MS office. Reporter, can you
retest this in wine 0.9.52 (or newer) and report back? Thanks.

With a few native dlls i was able to run the game, but never saw this bug
again. So apparently it's really fixed (or Gamehouse-game is newer version that
doesn't expose this bug, but that's difficult to tell). The crash in wininet is
still there using only builtin dlls, but that's covered by another bug
Please reopen if someone can still reproduce this bug

wine-0.9.52, Ubuntu 7.10, nVidia FX 5200,
Tested the Lion Heart Demo - obtained from here
http://www.gamershell.com/download_2917.shtml
No crash here, created a character, can play the game, tested with wine set to
Alsa and then set to OSS.
Looks like this bug is fixed or invalid.

For some time HL2 (or any other Steam game) has not worked for me in Wine. I
can start Steam, but I get backtraces on the console when I try to start any
Steam game. I believe there is another bug related to this crash.
I should also tell you that I am no longer using an NVIDIA card, but a radeon
x850XTPE PCIE with the F/OSS radeon driver. However ... I remember this crash
happening when I had my NVIDIA card too.

Tested Microcap v9.0.3.0 - seems to work quite well. I can't say if the latest

it works and is quite close to the appdb entry.

I have only experienced this issue in gta when I disable pixel shaders in
winecfg, if I enable pixel shaders vehicles no longer look funky like this, but
it gets way slower, verify that you have shaders available and enabled.
