is ok. Assume it got fixed somehow. Thanks!

Sorry, I have not been keeping up with versions. I used the original WINE
WININET implementation to build a WININET replacement on top of a proprietary
transport stack in a windows environment. The changes I proposed to the
original addressed my problems. However, you can close the bug if you want. At
some point I may use the updated package and if I do, I can always resubmit.

Still present in wine 0.9.52. It apparently is looking for a different file
(gpstrack.HLP), but if you open it's help file in WINE Help or copy gt2002.chm

Pressure sensitivity is still not working for me out of the box in Photoshop 7.
Haven't tried to tinker with it too much, but the two attached SDK example
programs are still showing "WinTab Services Not Available." I just reinstalled
the system yesterday, so practically everything is new out of the box, but I
can confirm that my tablet is working in GIMP. And yes, I am using Wine 0.9.52
:P
After generating and sorting through a WINEDEBUG=all log, it would seem that
Photoshop doesn't think I have a pressure sensitive tablet, but I can't tell if
it's detecting a tablet in the first place. I do get "LoadTablet Initializing
the tablet to hwnd 0x10024", so maybe it is detecting that there is a tablet,
but I'm not sure.
Removing my touchpad from the xorg.conf does not help.

The former error message related to DirectX 5.2 has not shown

I can run the program and open files, the menus look right.
Also, I have to correct myself: the program is "CD Architect

I have taken a look at it.
It seems that reception of packets from the other end stops after a few packets
back and forth. Just before the packets are sent allot of encryption is going
on in the encryption libs.
I think this encryption is the root cause of the problem. I think the data that
gets to the other end are not encypted correctly, and causes the other end to
halt traffic (just a theory).
I have compared the network trace with a trace running in WinXP,
which clearly shows that it is the other end that stalls, and not us.
(we never get response from the last packet we send - probably because it does
not like the contents).
I have attached a trace of the problem.
(only winsock & crypt).
If someone wants to have a go at it the program can be DLed here (demo):
http://www.schwabat.com/Platforms/streetsmart_pro/Overview.aspx
I have CC'ed Juan Lang as he seems to be the master when it comes to
encryption.
(I hope he does not mind).

It's a simple patch.
So you have to download the source as described in "Setup Info" on this HP:
http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting
After that you have to patch the source as described in "Patching Your Git
Tree" on the same HP:
http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting
If you haven't got any idear what to do, use the native msvrct.dll and play
until wine ist fixed and hope that all is gone right ;-)

Hi, i just want to say that i got the same problem.
After i run Warcraft3, im getting a freeze.Nothing seems to help.Im getting a
freeze after entering a bnet game, and also when i play for example wc3
campaign.
Now im using the restricted fglrx drivers and i get the same sh**. I was trying
the newest ATI drivers 8.433.1 but it also didint help.
Very interesting is that i got the same problem with Steam/CS 1.6 (Im only
using CS 1.6). After i connect to a serwer and i want to choose to join terror,
or counter-t i get a freeze. Seems like its the ATI drivers. Is there any help
with it ??
btw. No matter if i run the games in window mode or fullscreen.
My configuration:
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 128mb/128bit
P4 3.33GHz
1GB RAM
Ubuntu 7.10
everything is upgraded.
Thx

This is no longer an issue. The software in question now only needs native
oleaut32 and riched20 rather than the builtins.
I thought I'd removed this bug report ages ago.

The wine version is also without debugsymbols, where did you get it?
can you perhaps run either in gdb to get a better backtrace and/or

wine-0.9.52, Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy.
I can confirm crash in msadp32, see attached log.
This game does not crash if audio is disabled in winecfg. I've attached a
relay log of popcapgame1.exe, which you won't find if you go looking for it, as
FeedingFrenzy.exe writes this out and deletes it when you run
FeedingFrenzy.exe. I copied it before it deleted it and invoked it directly,
this cuts the relay log in half and reproduces the problem. See
popcapgame1.exe.relay.log.bz2

I can confirm this; I am receiving the same message "fixme:mswsock:TransmitFile
not implemented". Can duplicate by running DokuWiki on a Stick
(http://www.splitbrain.org/blog/2007-12/01-dokuwiki_on_a_stick), which runs on
MicroApache, in Wine. Just run Wine as root, opening mapache.exe, and open
your browser to http://localhost:8800/ and the errors will appear in the
console. I believe, in this case, they occur when mapache tries to serve .png
images.
