I had this behavior about five times. Maybe the error messages have something to do with it: err:d3d_surface:IWineD3DSurfaceImpl_LockRect The surface already has PBO memory allocated! Shortly before the crash is a very big performance reduction. Generally the performance is worser then in 0.9.44. If I skip the movies, it soon crashen while I move left and right around the menu (but gameplay works). It doesn't crash with Wine 0.9.44. My graphics card is GeForce 8800GTX, driver version 100.14.11. Also it's interesting the game doesn't crash and runs fine with Wine 0.9.45 on my laptop which has ATI FireGL V5200 using the new drivers (fglrx 8.41.7), however that laptop is x86, but my PC where it crashes is amd64.
