wine-0.9.53, Ubuntu 7.04, nVidia FX 5200
game is still playable and menus still have an issue
I think this bug can be closed, because the game "works" which is what the bug
report was for, I've opened a new bug for the menus: bug 11164

It's now worse. It now hangs on the first subinstaller.

Yes. The difference is that now alt-tab successfully
shows the hidden window.
Removing 'download' keyword since I think you have
to mail away for the demo.

I socksified steam, and day of defeat with tsocks. Master server didn't work
right, I had to use favorites most of the time, which is a direct connect I
quess. I used simple_proxy for luigi airemma, and the ssh tunne,k proxys.

I also have this problem. All dns in most programs goes to 127.0.0.1, expect
Internet Explorer. I have tried deleting ~/.wine. It does nothing. I use the
newest wine builds from the winehq repository. I run Debian (amd64 testing with
some unstable). I also have tried building it myself and using wine built by
Debian, but still have the same problem.
Any ideas?
(should I have submitted a new bug?)

Still happens on TNT2:
setting HKCU/Software/Wine/Direct3D/RenderTargetLockMode = readtex does avoid
the hang. But things will stop being drawn.
Implement pbo's using GL_EXT_pixel_buffer_object anyone?

@Eric Pouech
Is there a fix for symbols' name demangling?
I ask because there is another bug (
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8236 ) related to symbols' name
demangling.
Do you have a list which one aren't working?
And a list for that that are working (to generate a test).

Return something sensible from QueryDosDevice
By returning something sensible from QueryDosDevice TomTom can be tempted
to take the step. It calls SetupDiGetClassDevs, SetupDiEnumDeviceInfo and
then SetupDiGetDeviceInstanceId, which makes me think it's looking for a
device instance id specific to TomTom devices. These APIs simply enumerate
registry keys but on Wine the keys are not filled in yet. Let's take them
from a Windows machine for now:
0. Attach TomTom device to a Windows machine
1. Open regedit on that machine
2. Right click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum
3. Choose Export and save to enum.reg as Win9x/NT4 registry file
4. Copy enum.reg over to your Linux machine
5. wine regedit enum.reg
Repeat steps from comment #39 with this patch. A +relay,+setupapi log would
be most interesting.
