The current error appears to be that some HTTP headers (most importantly Content-Type) of the BlogThis! POST are not being sent. I've tracked this down to some odd interaction between urlmon/bindctx.c and shdocvw/navigate.c, but I don't have a fix yet. Ie. installation of the version 0.9.25 from the Debian sources had no problem. So, I have downgraded to ver. 0.9.25 for now (as it was, ver. 0.9.52 was impossible to use).
