Doesn't seem to be available anymore...Is this still an issue in current
(0.9.52 or newer) wine?

Still present in wine 0.9.52.

No, the protocol keeps changing.
Alexandre thinks it's ok that it's changing, but I'm still
kind of worried about wineserver - app mismatches
when people ship winelib apps.

Things are much improved.
There's still some audio instability, but it doesn't happen every run,
so I'll file a new bug for that if I can pin it down.
The installer has a new problem, so I'll file a new bug for that.

Ahh. Didn't notice that. Sorry about that. But that still doesn't call for name
calling.

Summary: Wine doesn't appear to provide antialiasing support
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.52.
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: adam(a)tpetaccia.com
That's a very bold statement, but every game I've tried doesn't have
antialiasing enabled, or the game refuses to enable (probably because wine
doesn't announce the capibility). I'm sure this is a known issue, but I'm
reporting it because I couldn't find anything on this.
In some games, antialiasing can be enabled at the driver level (like using
nVidia's control panel).
Observed with nVidia 7600GT and Intel i915.
