Since reported 0.9.36, Morrowind Inventory character displays white rectangle

At 0.9.30 Morrowind displayed face texture and body outlines - not good, but
definitely better than actual state.
Will try to seek the exact regression nature and provide better info.

Windows XP Thinkwell screenshot. Correct rendering.
For school, I use a program called thinkwell. This program seem to work great
under wine, except for a rendering glitch.
I have attached three images to show the problem.
The first shows what it is supposed to look like. This screenshot was taken
under WinXP. The part I have circled in red is a quicktime video. The remaining
window is a shockwave animation.
The problem is that under wine, when the quicktime video redraws (which happens
about 25 time per second), the shockwave animation becomes black. The shockwave
animation redraws every couple of seconds at which time the screen flickers.
This happens under kwin, metacity, and compiz.
The second screenshot shows what happens under wine.
The third screenshot shows a glitch under compiz that allows you to see what
happens. When I drag the window, the window and the shockwave animation move
and continue to update. But the quicktime video remains in its place until I
release the window titlebar.
What I see as the bug and the fix is that the z order of the animations is bad.
The shockwave should always be above the quicktime movie, even when quicktime
redraws.

Summary: Civilization 4's custom mouse cursors do not display

Platform: Other

Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: hein(a)kde.org
Firaxis' turn-based strategy game Civilization 4 includes a set of custom mouse
cursors, such as a rotating planet animation serving as busy cursor and a fancy
metal standard cursor. These custom cursors are displayed in the game on
Windows XP, but not in Wine. Instead, the standard white arrow Windows cursor
is shown at all times (regardless of cursor state, i.e. even when a busy cursor
should be shown).
Tested wine versions include v0.9.49 and today's git
(77ee756c91dfbacc4d42ae4f58f6b145bdc97876). The problem exists in both. The
Wine configuration is fairly untouched. The Windows version is set to
Windows 2000. Pixel and vertex shader support is enabled. Microsoft's MSXML 3
was installed and related DLL overrides added, which is necessary to run the
game.
The tested version of the game is the very latest, namely "Civilization 4:
Beyond the Sword" at patch level 3.13. "Beyond the Sword" is the second
commercial expansion/upgrade pack to the original title, and the preferred
version to play the game.
Testing was undertaken using nVidia's proprietary graphics driver in version
100.14.19 on a GeForce 8800 GTX, with X.org v7.3 (xorg-server v1.4) and Linux
v2.6.23.9. The distribution is Gentoo Linux.

Summary: xf86-input-keyboard trouble with (probably) direct input
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.52.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: liquid.acid(a)gmx.net
Hi there,
I just noticed that keyboard input in Half-Life doesn't seem to work for me.
I'm currently using wine version 0.9.52, but already tried to downgrade to
0.9.51, 0.9.50 and 0.9.49. That does not fix the problem. But I knew that
0.9.49 wasn't giving me this problem when previously playing Half-Life on this
system.
So the problem had to be somewhere else. Because it was keyboard related and I
updated the xorg-server recently, also updating xf86-input-keyboard I suspect
this to be the keyboard driver.
What exactly is the problem?
I have a german keyboard (QWERTZ layout) and the last keyboard row above the
row where the space key is, is giving me problem.
On this row are the keys ...,Y,X,C,V,B,N,M,...
Now these keys work fine when working on the console and in Xfce. When using
Half-Life the keys seem to be somehow remapped.
Pressing Y outputs a X, pressing X gives me a C, C -> V, etc.
This does only apply to this special row of the keyboard. My friend who was
using wine-0.9.52 the day I first experienced this does not have this kind of
problems. He was using xf86-input-keyboard-1.1.1 this day. I have another
desktop machine which also has version 1.1.1 of the keyboard driver installed
and also does not show the problem.
My friend currently updates the keyboard driver to 1.2.2 (the version I'm
using) to reproduce the problem.
A few further informations. My current XkbLayout is "de", there the problem
appears. When changing the layout to "en" the problem is gone, no remapping
occurs there.
This problem does not appear when using some standard win32 gui applications,
so I suspect this to related to direct input (AFAIK Half-Life uses this).
I'm also going to file a report on the gentoo bugzilla, because of a possible
input-keyboard regression.
Bye,
Tobias

show up (Readme, FAQ, Uninstall) when you roll over them, and the Play/Exit

Running the "mainapp.exe" which is the actual game executable, it crashes with
a dsound error and then unhandled page fault.
Running mainapp.exe with a native dsound.dll stops the dsound error and seems
to get a little farther (but not much farther) and crashes with a segmentation

I've attached a log of the launcher run, the builtin dsound.dll run, and the

Output of wine gta_sa.exe
GTA San Andreas (version 1.00 and 1.01), crashes when I load an save file after
placing it in the save file directory (~/GTA San Andreas User Files). The load
screen works correctly, and after it's done, and fades to black, I get the
attached backtrace. Starting a new game works correctly, and I see the cutscene
and the game correctly.

Summary: Incompatibility between Teamspeak and wine 0.9.47
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.47.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2

Hi,
In my pc, I have wine 0.9.46 and Teamspeak2RC2. With TS, I can speak and listen
my friends. But with wine 0.9.47, I saw, I can have the voice chat under WoW,
but after the installation of this version of wine, my TS recognize my sound
card but I couldn't speak or listen.
I don't know if it is explicit. But if some traces or log, you can say me how
do it, and I report you the log.
I forget to say I use a sound blaster 5.1 live.
Thank you for this program and good luck for the future.
PS: Sorry if I don't put in the right component
