Do you really think most people are that tech savvy to search bugzilla/appdb for deshrinker "howto"? I don't think so. People get easily distracted if they need to make additional steps to "fix" something wine isn't capable to do (e.g. download "deshrinker" tool from obscure location and decompress application binaries). If such software works in Windows - even if it's totally brain damaged - wine should make it work too (if technically possible).
