Attach terminal output with that crash.
Confirming.

iTunes (through Quicktime) is also affected.

That'd be a better question for Stefand. I haven't noticed anything broken on
my end, but I haven't tested it extensively.

Yep hack - but it works.
How many more applications is it going to fix? Zorks? Diablo? Java Swing and
QuickTime? Heroes IV? VLC? Anything more?
What´s going to be broken by the fix then?

While many may agree with you, it is still a hack. However, it seems a proper
implementation may not be possible/feasible. If you can convince Julliard to
accept it, then you can get it into Wine, but he's quite anti-hack.

Still an issue with wine 1.1.7. Crash immediately after starting. You can see a
black screen, the screen resolution is being changed and BAM! Back on desktop.

I'm not really getting what this program is supposed to do, but it's certainly
not crashing when starting. The mouse cursor also doesn't get stuck and the
menu seems to be working.
I suggest we close that bug as "Fixed".

Still partially an issue in wine 1.1.7 - without native amstream.dll the demo
crashes immediately. After setting amstream.dll to native and "regsrv32
amstream.dll" it's throwing lots of quartz errors.
And when finally also setting quartz.dll to native the intro movies pretty much
work, until after "2. The crucifix" is shown in game, when you only hear broken
sound accompanied by millions of "pMediaSeeking->SetPositions(&fot_ini,
AM_SEEKING_AbsolutePositioning, &fot_fin, AM_SEEKING_AbsolutePositioning)
failed with HRESULT(0x80004001)" in the debug output. After that nothing really
seems to happen anymore.
