I tested on both Linux and Windows and all applications close their menus when you touch their window decoration. Simply moving the mouse over the menu bar makes the detached box re-attach. Based on my admittedly brief testing, this problem only seems to occur in windowed mode, not in a virtual desktop. Should I change the summary line to "Detached menus in Firefox" and add the "download" keyword again? I just ask beforehand because I do not feel like starting another bugzilla edit war with Vitaliy...
