Mirage 1.5 with Wine
Here i upload couple images. Just like updating :), If that helps anyone. I
tested Mirage 1.5 with Wine. And like itÅ› working even little bit better than
earlier versions. On introscreen there's autodrawing some random selected
image, that's draw correctly like in Mirage canvas and drawing into it seems to
be ok.

Problem ("Cannot attach flipping surface (DDERR_CANNOTATTACHSURFACE)" ) still
exists in 1.1.6 and affects also other Apps like Seven Kingdom II. Any input
needed?

The attached patch fixes the problem, but there are other bugs. I put them here
so that they won't get lost until I have some more time to check if they are
real bugs.
Running with a higher value e.g. 1g results in the following output:
$ wine qpi.exe 1g
...

I just checked on my slow winxp machine and it got to 15% (then I aborted, took
1h to get there). Running with 500m works in wine.
There is another bug with the input. Running $wine qpi.exe -h shows the help
but I couldn't read all, because the space (which works on winxp) didn't switch
the site.

While BYOND is up, it creates a system icon in your tray. In Ubuntu 8.10 with
Wine 1.1.7, this try icon is a completely black square instead of its intended
design.

BYOND debug output
On the game, Tabletop Engine, ran by the program BYOND. When the # sign is used
in the input boxes, it causes the submit button to not work. I have attached
the debug output Wine gives when this takes place.

Hello,
yes that patch forces the app's own memory manager to take only vm blocks into
account which are really mmap'able by their base.
Works, tested with 300000k digits of Pi ;-)
Such apps which try to be über-clever about memory management should be a very
rare occurrence.
