To reproduce: - create anew image - draw some shapes - in optimize panel choose for example Jpeg and then using the panel menu choose progressive Ooops a "Memoire insufisante" (not enough memory) occurs. Then fireworks just does not work anymore: close it and open it, create or open any image and the error appears. Deleting windows/profiles/crossover/Application Data/Macromedia/Fireworks 8/French/Fireworks 8 Panel Prefs.xml makes it work again but loosing all personal settings. I don't have the same problem with native linux game using SDL or OpenGL.
